If you've been grinding through Arc Raiders, chances are you've run into the Fragmented Logs side quest. It is one of those quests that sounds straightforward on paper but can easily turn into a massive headache if you do not know exactly where you are heading. You are tasked with tracking down and hitting three separate terminal objectives across some heavily patrolled areas.The good news? You do not have to do all of this in a single raid. Your progress tracks across multiple runs, so if things go sideways midway through, you won't lose everything you've already completed. Here is a practical, step-by-step breakdown of how to get this quest done smoothly.Quest Preparation: What to BringBefore you even think about deploying, there is one crucial item you need to secure: exactly 1 Electrical Component. You cannot complete the first step without it.[*]The Safe Pocket Strategy: By far the easiest and safest method is to just toss one Electrical Component into your safe pocket before jumping into the match. That way, even if you get wiped early on, you still have the quest item ready to go.
[*]Scavenging on the Fly: If your safe pocket is full, you can always hunt for one during the raid. Keep an eye out for droids on the ground to loot, or grab items like old phones and drivers and recycle them while you are out in the field.
Once you have your component sorted, load up into the Stella Montis map. Your targets will be split between the Robotic Sandbox and the Cultural Archives.Step 1: Repair the Robotic Sandbox TerminalYour first destination is the upper level overlooking the Robotic Sandbox, which sits around the center-bottom layer of the Stella Montis layout.
[*]Make your way toward the control rooms on the upper level (Control Room B3 is a reliable one to target). To get up there, you can either grab the zipline located in the back hallway or ride the moving cherry picker on the northern end.
[*]Once you are upstairs, look around the backside of the room to locate an out-of-service console terminal.
[*]Interact with the console. Doing this will consume the Electrical Component you brought along, successfully fixing the terminal and checking off the first part of the quest.
Step 2: Enable Power in the Sandbox BackroomsFor the next step, you do not have to travel far, but you do need to head downstairs right next to the main sandbox area.
[*]Drop back down from the upper control rooms to the ground floor of the Robotic Sandbox.
[*]You are looking for the conduit backrooms built along the outer walls. Keep an eye out for a door marked Control Room A3 on the northeastern edge of Sandbox A.
[*]Head inside and push through to the back-right section of the room. Positioned right between the server racks, you will find a main power switch. Flip the lever to restore power to the backrooms.
Step 3: Boot the Cultural Archives Data TerminalThe final step requires a shift in environment. You need to leave the sandbox behind and cross over to the Cultural Archives, which occupies the far eastern side of Stella Montis.
[*]Stay Alert: The Cultural Archives area is notoriously dangerous. It is heavily patrolled by nasty ARC units including Shredders, Ticks, and Fireballs. Move cautiously, use cover, and avoid picking unnecessary fights if you are running solo.
[*]Navigate to the service backrooms located near the center of the Cultural Archives structure. You are looking for a specific server room section that juts out noticeably from the main building's map layout.
[*]Walk past the large server cabinets into a smaller room tucked away in the back. You will spot a desk console sitting there. Approach it and select the "Bring Online" prompt.
Quest RewardsAs soon as you boot that final terminal, the quest will automatically pop as completed. The best part? You do not actually need to successfully extract to lock in your quest completion. If a squad catches you on the way out, your progress is still safe—though, of course, extracting successfully is always the goal if you want to keep any extra standard raid loot you picked up along the way.
